Aquarius New Moon ~ Astrodrama
The Aquarius New Moon on February 9-10 is empowering us to march to the beat of our own drum. We are encouraged to live authentically. Aquarius asks for us to embody who we truly are. The Capricorn New Moon in January gave us the power of intention. The Aquarius New Moon empowers us to innovate ourselves. It is time to recreate, reinvent and expand ourselves into new fields of growth.
Aquarius teaches us to be proud of our uniqueness, originality and diversity. You are irreplaceable. You are the one you have been waiting for. You have come to change the world. Be the change you want to see. Where are you being called to make a difference? Are you ready to manifest your hopes and wishes? What are you resisting? We can acknowledge our fear and hesitancy. A life strategy for fear and hesitancy is to breathe deep, ground and center ourselves. Feel what it would be like to have what you are dreaming. When we feel our alignment with what we are manifesting. We then take that leap of faith into our new direction. Risk brings reward. It is better to try and fail than to live an unexpressed life.

Aquarius is the water bearer. This confuses many people into thinking that Aquarius is a water sign. Aquarius is an intellectual air sign. The water bearer is shown pouring water from the urn. This signifies the pouring of water from the river of life. In other words, the water is knowledge. This knowledge is to be shared in service to humanity. Aquarius reminds us to find a mission bigger than ourselves. This is our life purpose. A Dharma only you can complete.

Wherever Aquarius is found in your natal chart is where you need to reform old ideas and concepts about the house affairs. New ideas and knowledge should be utilized. We do this to break down these old beliefs and perceptions from past lifetimes. The house affairs will receive abrupt changes as this reformulation takes place. The changes can be constructive or destructive. This depends upon whether we are heading in the right direction. And/or are we resisting the changes being asked of us.
For instance, Aquarius rules our 7th house of marriage and partnership. We may not desire a traditional marriage. Aquarius on the 7th house requires that we define our relationships based on what is right for us. Such as living together and/or spending time apart during the year. Creating our own unique union based on what is right for the partners. This is what is required for our lasting success.

The Aquarius New Moon challenges (squares) the nodes. The North Node represents the direction in life we are to go in. The South Node represents where we have come from in our past lives. The transiting North Node is in Scorpio. Scorpio rules the unconscious. The God and Goddess archetypes are alive and well in our unconscious.
For instance, Astrodrama is used as improv where groups of people act out their archetypes in their natal birth chart. The participants create through play-acting, singing and dancing. Using dramatic Self-expression we bring our personal archetypes to life. We can tap into our unlimited creative power. People get stuck in life when a relationship, job and/or a situation ends. They do not know how to begin again, start fresh or change. We need to learn how to reinvent, recreate, and /or expand ourselves.
We need tools to access our hidden aspects of Self. These parts of Self are begging for creative Self-expression. They are referred to as our inner demons. However, they are the parts of Self that have been dismissed, shamed or ignored. These elements of Self are crying to be heard. Astrodrama empowers our wholeness. We can discover ourselves anew. We can give voice to those hidden aspects of Self. These aspects of Self are rich with untapped talents, gifts and abilities. Treasures are buried deep within Self. Astrodrama empowers us to access our treasures. This makes us strong.

Scorpio is about owning our power. Aquarius is about living authentically. We are to live our heart’s desire. What is precious to you? The transiting South Node is in Taurus. Taurus is about our core values. We are to live from our core values. This creates wholeness and balance. We accept who we really are. We live for a purpose that is greater than ourselves. This creates a meaningful life with intention.

We are to join forces with those of like/light mindedness. Uranus and Aquarius both rule the 11th house of the friends and the groups we belong. We can have sudden opportunities drop in our lap. Uranus loves surprises. We can experience brilliant breakthroughs in Aquarius. We can receive unexpected gifts and enlightenment. Our hope and wishes are lived through our 11th house.

Saturn retrogrades Feb 18 through July 7. Saturn has been revealing the chinks in our armor. This is where we need to make changes and improvements. Saturn in reverse is the time to heal our psychology and strengthen our personal foundation. The stronger we are on the inside. The more we can accomplish in life and work. Saturn retrograde is excellent for reviewing the past. What have we learned and integrated since October 5? This is when Saturn first entered Scorpio. Saturn retrograde requires that we finish our unfinished business. Saturn teaches us to slow down, apply the brakes to our ego and become more thoroughly organized.
The Aquarius New Moon is an awesome opportunity to innovate ourselves. We are to be true to ourselves and fulfill our mission. All the planets are direct. This is a giant green light from Creator. The cosmic message is “Take a leap forward on your life path and fulfill your destiny.” February is a month of big changes for everyone. It is time to release our self-imposed limitations. Speak our Truth. Walk our talk. Love and embrace our uniqueness. Recreate Self.
