“Who wants to play?” Leo the lion rules the fifth house of children (inner and outer), true love, romance, creativity, risk-taking and your soul.  On this Leo New Moon August 20, 2009, we have the fourth of the five Super Moons (nearest to Earth) of the year.  That tells us, our DNA is being activated by the fire power of the Sun (male) and Moon (female) in Leo from the fixed, determined, and most powerful fire sign.  Where is your fire? What makes you passionate about life?  What are you doing to develop your creativity? Above all else, what are you doing to have fun? Leo rules the heart or the heart rules Leo.

What are your heart’s secret desires?  What dreams may come from honoring who-you uniquely-are? Are you developing your talents, gifts and abilities?  It takes the heart, strength and the courage of a Lion to live authentically in these transformational times.    If you are trying to find a solution to a nagging problem; ask your Inner Self, “Is this relationship, job, or living location, etc. an authentic expression of my True Self or my ego self?  Is my heart really in what I am doing? Have I outgrown this situation, relationship or job?  We need to practice “Healthy-Selfishness.” When you do what is right for you, it is right for all concerned.  The Age of Aquarius is dawning.

We are reminded of this, at the New Moon in Leo, about the Magical Mystery Tour (Jupiter, Chiron, and Neptune) are teamed up in Aquarius and opposing Leo.  If we want the Age of freedom, equality, choice, liberation, compassion and love to be our reality, then we must first free ourselves (Leo). How can we ask a nation, a people and a planet to rise up and be in Aquarian love? On another note, try to get done everything you need to complete in August, i. e., avoid all major purchases, contracts and big decisions until October 1st. For heaven’s sake please don’t get married in September unless you want a short term and/or troublesome union. In September we have a menacing Mercury Retrograde, and the three darkest days of the year (September 17-19th).  Lions, and tigers and bears oh my!

We are experiencing the calm before the storm. On September 18, 2009 we have the Virgo New Moon. The third of five exact oppositions between the two heavy-weight prized fighters, Saturn (status quo) and Uranus (rebellion) in the ring, again. Additionally, we have powerful, take-no-prisoners Pluto on the scene. Pluto will be the referee to the showdown between our champions shrewd Saturn and unpredictable Uranus. Pluto-change or die (and not a metaphor) is challenging both Saturn and Uranus during a Mercury wretchrograde all of September exact (7-30).  How shall I say this gracefully? There is a shit storm coming of great magnitude and affect.

I believe that our coming astrology will indeed change our lives. This eventually will be for the better, even if it gets a little rocky for a while.  How do I know life will get better? Astrologers are great historians we love to study the past. If you study history, you would conclude that our lives are the best they have ever been.  Look where we were 60 years ago or 100 years ago as a people and nations?  Most people rarely lived past their first Saturn return that happens at age 30.  We have witnessed enormous technological breakthroughs. We enjoy and experience a higher quality of life.

We have a Spiritual Transformation that is being played out in the physical, mental, and emotional dimensions, both personally and in our collective consciousness.  As a result, for some who are staunchly resistant to change will find this cycle extremely uncomfortable.  “Resistance is futile, let go or I will rip it out of your bleeding hands.”–Love, Pluto. Remember that fear comes from our ego not our Higher Self or Inner Being.  Fear is false evidence appearing real.  These transits only take that which is obsolete.  They will not take what you need, to grow and to evolve. We are here to expand consciousness and joy. If you have been feeling stuck, this just may be your ticket to ride out into your glorious new future.  Yes we can feel anxiety, uncertainty, and confusion if we are boldly going out into the unknown future.  It is natural to have these feelings, because we have never been here before personally or collectively. We are moving into the fifth dimension consciousness. The secret is to do our inner work, heal our past childhood issues, and past life issues requiring care. The best strategy in this change is to practice getting whole. Wholeness is the key to feeling good and attracting what we want.

In September the astrology will be demanding real changes in our lives. Superficiality will no longer suffice. No longer can we gloss over our unresolved issues from our past lives or childhood.  If there was ever a time to work on our psychology that time is now.   We need to get to the source of our issues that are driving the schisms in our psychology. This step up into higher consciousness will only continue to exasperate our unresolved issues. We can live our very best life.  I see that our recipe for happiness begins in our inner world.  If you can connect to your True Self and merge your outer personality to your Inner Self-your wisdom, heart, and power. You will make right choices based on your core values and integrity.  This approach will be your protection through the storms of change coming.

However, If we choose to continue in third dimensional consciousness, our energy will be tied up in right-fighting, ego blaming, irresponsibility, and victimhood.  We will feel lost, because what is happening is a Spiritual Transformation. We are being asked to change form.  In other words, who-you-really-are, your authentic nature, and your true essence are based on your inner world, your Inner Being, your inner family and your inner child (soul.)   “If you encourage your children to stay connected to Source Energy, they will remain clear-minded; they will remain optimistic; they will remain enthusiastic. They will remain balanced; they will remain flexible. They will remain in a state of grace. They will remain in a state of Well-Being. And they will make wonderful choices.”— Abraham

This truth applies to our inner children too!  Yeah! We have no control over the externals. Our power will always be in how we connect to Self, act from our Inner Child/Being and remember to always draw our strength, wealth, energy, and wholeness from Source. We can be the calm in the eye of the storm.  If we practice being positive, encouraging to others, and we are not attached to outcome, or outworn behaviors, or wedded to the past. “My Most Important Relationship Is With My Source… There is no relationship of greater importance to achieve than the relationship between you, in your physical body, right here and now, and the Soul/Source/God from which you have come. If you tend to that relationship, first and foremost, you will then, and only then, have the stable footing to proceed into other relationships.
