Keep your soul healthy in these strange times

Just like all of you, I’ve had a downpour of pandemic news. Stories about how many are infected. Stories about hoarding. Posts about grocery shortages. Depressing updates about the economy. Forget the coronavirus; I feel ill just wading through all of this horrible news. And I can’t find toilet paper… What’s the deal? Americans hear the bad news and one of our biggest concerns is how am I going to wipe my behind? Okay, I get it. Do what makes you feel safe. But we are all in this together. And hoarding is fear. I am not saying not to stock up on supplies. Not at all. I am just saying, consider the next person coming into the shop. They too need to have staples on hand. We are stronger together. I have always believed that your wealth is in your health. The better you feel, life too is better.

My health has always been a huge priority for me.  It’s important that you take good care of yourself. You have a destiny. And we’ll overcome this crisis and be stronger for it. Now, there are some basics that we need to apply. And I, too, have to remind myself of these things. Coming back from the store I touched my face. I had an itch. And then I realized, “AHH, I TOUCHED MY FACE.” This is a big no-no. “What are doing, Kelley? AH!” And I was unpleasantly reminded to give everyone their space.

I am really good at spacing out when I am waiting in long lines. There was a woman in the grocery store a few days ago standing in front of me.  And she freaked out, while dozens of people watched. STAND BACK YOU’RE GETTING IN MY SPACE. She screamed at me. Now, I didn’t want to go at it with her. Because when people are scared, they overreact. You never want to hit anyone back with the same fear or anger they broadcast at you. This would only escalate the conflict. Never mind that the guy behind me was not three or six-feet apart from me. But he did back up the minute the woman freaked out at me. And so did the entire line behind me. This was a valuable lesson, and painful for an empath.

There is good advice right now for all of us. Social distance and handwashing will help lower your chance of catching the virus. We’ve all heard this from a thousand different sources. Twenty seconds under the hot soapy water is a good practice. I have been wearing gloves when I go into stores. And, I try not to touch surfaces. Instead, I will use my sleeve.

Here’s what I want to share, though. I want you to keep your soul healthy in these strange times. In addition to keeping your physical health, it’s important to stay mentally healthy. Getting plenty of rest is essential for your mental state. Eating healthy too will help.

Make sure you also take time out to relax. Read a good book. Go for a walk in the park. Do yoga. Take a hot bath. Do the things that make YOU feel good. Do the things that make you forget the news! And get out in the fresh air and sunshine for that good Vitamin D. It’s free! And so are the birds singing.

Now more than ever, it’s essential to practice mindfulness. And to observe the energy around you. Be the observer. The POWER is always with the one who acts. And never with the one who reacts.  Energy can come from the people around you. The news, social media – just about anywhere. Energy does not respect walls or distance. It will travel in a second and get into your head. We want to stay out of fear.

I am working on practicing mindfulness. Being mindful when I am in public. I have a secret prayer that I use. Given to me by the Ascended Masters. I find that prayer spoken aloud is far more powerful than saying it in my mind. Try it on and see how it feels out in public.

“In the name of my Mighty, I Am Presence and Holy Christ Self. I call to Beloved Lanello and K-17 for my cloak of invincibility, invulnerability, and invisibility.”

There are plenty of things we can’t control. We can’t control the virus itself. We can’t control business and schools closing. If your job is furloughed, you can’t control that. Don’t dwell on what you can’t change. The good news is…

There are things you CAN control. You want to FOCUS your energy and power there.

You can control who you let affect you. Surround yourself with people who lift you up. If someone brings you negative energy regularly, limit the impact they have on you. You don’t need these people in your life. Spend time with your pets and nature. This will feed your soul.

Mentally distance yourself from someone else’s negativity. I promise it is possible. Love yourself more than the need to keep anyone in your life who is taking you down.

I have a very negative uncle. Because that is how his brain is hard-wired. Even during significant milestones and celebrations. He’ll find something to complain about. Graduation in the family? “Well, that’ll be one big mess to clean up after the party.” Buy a new house? “Looks like you’ll need a new roof soon.” He’s a real downer. You get the picture.

Dealing with him gets old. Every time he’s around, I remember that his negativity does not affect me, and I am not here to change him. I don’t resist who he is. I ignore him. That seems to work well for me. The next time you’re around someone like this remember: Another person’s negativity is NOT your reality. You’ll want to repeat this regularly.

You can also control your news intake. Stop checking Facebook every 20 minutes. There’s no need to leave the news playing in the background. Choose 2-3 times per day you will check-in. Stick to it. Your world will not fall apart if you don’t find out about the latest closure within minutes.

It’s quite the opposite. You’ll feel much LESS stress. Limit the COVID-19 updates, economy soundbites, and grocery shortage posts. Constant updates feed anxiety and fear. Limit negativity – from all sources.

Feed your soul with goodness, positivity, and nourishment. If there is too much negativity and noise, your soul won’t be able to find the light. And the goal is to stay in the light and higher vibration.

“I promise you nothing is as chaotic as it seems. Nothing is worth diminishing your health. Nothing is worth poisoning yourself into stress, anxiety, and fear.”

There is more good news. The Sun soars into Aries tonight at 8:50 PDT and we move into Spring in the Northern Hemisphere. YAY!  These are strange times we are experiencing. My latest upload of the April videos was recorded and published before we got quarantined in the states. Some of the advice doesn’t work. I will chat about it when I do the May astrology horoscopes. It’s important to be calm. Keep out of fear. Give space to people when in public. 😉

Get out in the fresh air. Walk, bike, and run, etc. This feeds your soul and self-esteem. There is financial support coming from the government. Also, Facebook is giving out grants to small business owners around the world. That you can apply for a grant right now if you have been in business for at least a year.  Click here to view the details.

Keep cool and carry on. We will get through this and the economy will come roaring back.  We all need to slow down and rest. And now that I am rested. I have to go hunt down extra soft and quilted toilet paper. 😉

Take good care of yourself! Be Safe.

Huge Love and Peace,

Kelley

I have a serious health problem in several areas of my body .I’m being driven just short of Nut House via doctors, the V A ( I’m a disabled American prior Vietnam War vet on 100 % disabled) , and attorneys. The three things I’ve always prided myself on since I became self employed are : abnormal amounts of persistence, abnormal amounts of energy ( sometimes too much ) , abnormal amounts of creativity.
