I’ve had my share of failures

Someone asked me recently if I would consider teaching a course on astrology. My reply was I would find that dreadfully dull. I’m seeking new experiences and challenges.  Some folks are having a hard time accepting my new life. I get it. But, not wanting a person to change because it doesn’t work for you is not about me. I know that we are all going through a huge transformation. And if the time is right, you want to follow your own instincts and not let fear control you.

Don’t get me wrong, making big changes is scary and it’s wise to take your time and not be too hasty. Do your homework. On the other hand, you want to take the plunge when it’s time to plunge. It’s good to experiment. It’s good to be curious and try new things. Be open to the opportunities around you.

New experiences keep your life fresh and lively. For me, life is meant to BE LIVED, and the REWARD comes from reaching out to new experiences and not staying in the same place because it is safe and familiar.

I want to thank you personally for supporting my growth. You are appreciated!  We are all in this together. This is one of my favorite mantras.  I like to say it aloud and often.

“For My Highest Good and For the Highest Good of All Concerned.”

The truth is I do love astrology. I live by it, and it sets the tone for many of my decisions. Here’s why I’m not interested in teaching it, though: I’m not interested in astrology. I’m interested in using it to my advantage. I also want to use astrology for your advantage on my YouTube channel, blog, and email messages.

I will be making new videos on YouTube and will include some astrology. I plan on publishing my first video on August 1.

I want to talk about what I’m passionate about – PROSPERITY. How to build it. How to grow it. And how to keep it. I love helping people GROW their business. I love technology.

What gives you passion? How are you building financial security in our wacky world? Creator wants you to live an abundant and joyful life. So that he can live through you and your expansion. It’s a win/win for the Universe.

And the good news is there are so many paths to get there. I’ve seen many people over the years try and succeed. But in between, there were a lot of letdowns. I’ve had my share of them as well. But, boy you do learn from them. And that’s the most important thing is to learn from your failures and keep going. You can learn from your wins too and that’s way more fun.

Remember Crystal Pepsi? That was a massive fail. If Pepsi can get past that, you can get past just about anything. AND YOU CAN!

ANYONE can grow a successful business. The most successful people followed four simple tips that I’m sharing right now:

Start where you are.

Going into business never means going broke. Spend the absolute bare minimum to get started and upgrade as you make money. Use your phone to do your first videos. You might build your first website yourself. If your business fails, you shouldn’t be worse off than you were.

Learn everything you can.

And I mean EVERYTHING. Be willing to try new things and learn new technology. Technology is always changing. You will never feel like you’ve fully grasped everything you need to know because there will be an upgrade or new platform before you know it. Get used to being in “figure it out mode.” There’s always a better marketing strategy. There’s always a better product. Successful business leaders are those that live to figure out and implement what’s next.

Never accept defeat.

No one watched your latest video? No one signed up for your latest mailing list freebie? Consider this a learning experience for what didn’t work. Try again. Do something different. To find success, you want to learn WHY you failed and do it better next time. But, don’t just keep making more videos and doing things the same way. Connect to your audience. If you’re not connecting to your audience, more videos will not fix the problem.

YOU are responsible for your success.

This one is the biggest lesson of all. If your video won’t upload, it’s not the internet’s fault or YouTube’s platform issue. It’s you! You might need to try from a different computer. You might need to upgrade your internet connection or try at a different time. The bottom line is this: you aren’t failing or succeeding based on anyone or anything else. Once you realize that YOU are the fix for your problem, the world is your oyster. I promise.

There has never been a better time to start an online business. And/or to run a business from your home. Life was meant to be lived as an adventure. And if there is no risk, there can be no reward. Fortune favors the bold. Life is either a daring adventure or nothing at all.

If you dare nothing, then when the day is over, nothing is all you will have gained.”
